The Toyota Center is located in Houston, Texas and is one of the most popular venues in the state. Seating capacity for this popular multi-purpose venue includes 18,300 for professional basketball, 17,800 for professional hockey and up to 19,000 concert spectators. Thousands of fans pack the house during each event just to catch a glimpse of their favorite athlete, musician or other performer.
Among the many amenities that the Toyota Center offers includes a center hung scoreboard display consisting of four LED video boards suited for highlight replays, commercials, promotions and player profiles. This video board has the highest resolution of any arena, which makes it brighter and provides for sharper images. There are eight LED matrix boards, which are used for sponsor announcements, game stats, commercials, fan prompts, player profiles and more.
Fan who are searching for official team merchandise, souvenirs and other collectibles may browse the team shop located on the main concourse. Various merchandise may also be available throughout the arena, along with club and suite holders, who may purchase merchandise directly from special locations in the lounge area.
Toyota Center club seats can accommodate up to 2,900 spectators. These special guests enjoy a variety of amenities, including tickets near the sidelines, first refusal rights for concerts and other tickets, wider seats with a cup holder and plenty of leg room, an accessible private sky bridge, club lounges, exclusive restaurants and more.
Suites are another amenity at the Toyota Center with approximately 79 available for use at each event. Suite holders can accommodate multiple guests and enjoy a variety of services, including exclusive space, excellent views of the action and other special opportunities. Located throughout the suites, restaurants and lounges are more than 140 plasma televisions with over 250 flat screen televisions located throughout the remaining parts of the Toyota Center.
For the fans who cannot get close enough to the action, the Toyota Center offers special backstage tours for a behind the scenes look at the hottest sports and entertainment complex in Houston. Tour guides will take you through many different areas, including the arena floor, the Red & White Bistro Restaurant, Lexus Lounge, Courtside Suite and the Rockets Club. Tours are conducted during normal business hours, but may be limited in access on event days. On these days, locker rooms and the team hallway will be inaccessible due to player privacy. Video cameras are not allowed, but regular cameras are permitted for you to snap some pics along the way.
